I "gottahave" . . . "green"!
In March, my parties will be "going green" and I'll be posting some great "going green" tips on my blog to go along with that theme. Check back regularly during March & pass the website on to your friends who want to "go green", too!
I've got a question about making candles for you: what happens if you mix in sugar with your wax when you melt it? Will it ruin the consistency of the wax? Have you tried this before?
Wish I had an answer for you, but I don't make candles myself -- I just sell the world's finest candles, made by Gold Canyon!! Anyway, just from my knowledge of cooking I'd guess that sugar would be a bad idea here because the high temperatures of the wick burning would probably cause the sugar to "burn" which results in a terrible smell. So, that's an answer from someone who doesn't know anything about making candles . . . don't know if it will help or not! LOL
