If you haven't yet heard about the Prayer Child Foundation, you'll be amazed at the great work that it is doing through Gold Canyon & all of its' customers & demonstrators. Here is a great story of another child being helped through the Foundation. Help make a difference with the Prayer Child Foundation!

I have a goal to donate $100 or more to the Prayer Child Foundation this week to help kids & their families with pricey medical expenses who really need our help! So, I decided to do a fundraiser of sorts & I greatly appreciate all of you who are able to help . . .

Purchase a Candles for Kids THIS WEEK & . . . 100% of Gold Canyon's profits go to benefit children in need (this is ALWAYS the case with these candles) but as a BONUS, I will personally donate $5 for each candle that is purchased! Order through me or my website . . . either will work! Fragrance options include: Apple of My Eye, No More Sniffles (my favorite!), Baby Magic, & Baby Powder.

Note: in case you're not familiar with Candles for Kids . . . they're not a candle for kids to burn, it is simply a line of our candles where 100% of the profits benefit the Prayer Child Foundation to be donated to children in need, mostly children with expensive medical conditions

Prayer Child Foundation Giving Tree

New to our convention festivities this year is the chance to donate toys to the Prayer Child Foundation Giving Tree. We'll be taking toy donations (unwrapped, $10 value & greater) to deliver to the tree at convention & if you'd like to donate, just get your toys to me! I'll be leaving for Convention on July 28th, so get those toy donations to me before then & I'll make sure they're donated to the Prayer Child Foundation Giving Tree!

The toys that are donated will be given to a charity - charity will be chosen by the person who donates the most toys.

Another highlight of the Gold Canyon Convention is the traditional time when Karen Waisath talks to us about the Prayer Child Foundation & introduces us to a family who has been helped by the efforts of the foundation. This is an extremely touching moment & one that we pass around the kleenex for. The Prayer Child Foundation was established by Gold Canyon to give financial assistance to families who are struggling with the bills that come along with having a child with health problems. 100% of Gold Canyon's profits from the Candles for Kids line go into the Prayer Child Foundation to help these families & we are also able to give donations to the foundation to help as well. But in addition to that, as demonstrators, we are encouraged to get involved in our communities to find those individuals that need a Prayer Child grant.

I found a great organization that I want to donate some of my time to, making cards for children who are fighting difficult illness & just need something to cheer them up & brighten their day. The organization is called, Love Letters: Random Cards of Kindness.

One of the things I was thrilled to do was to apply for a grant from the Prayer Child Foundation (http://www.prayerchild.org/), created by Gold Canyon. I received a check for $250 that I was able to pass along to the organization and then received a phone call from the founder of the organization. She thanked me profusely for the way that we were able to help & let me know that it would make a big difference to their organization. THANK YOU GOLD CANYON for letting me help make a difference!

The co-founders, Curt & Karen Waisath, wanted to give back to the community once their business was established & growing. So, they started the Prayer Child Foundation.
