We live in a day and age where everything has a warning label! The answer? Auto Fresheners are activated by heat. Typically, an auto freshener will last longer in cooler months & be stronger & get used up more quickly in warmer months because the heat is bringing out the fragrance at a faster rate.
You should also follow the package instructions for cutting the plastic packaging off in layers in order to get the longest use out of your auto freshener. And don't be surprised if you have a Gold Canyon auto freshener that lasts longer than the 4 weeks -- it does happen!
